New Developments in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area:
There are many builders working on great new homes in the Dallas & Fort Worth areas. Locations, floorplans and customer incentives change weekly so it's best to check out the builder's websites for current information.
Why use a Realtor when buying a new home:
A Realtor can be your best resource when buying your newly-constructed home. From helping you shop financing options, to comparing customer incentives, to managing the inspection and closing process, a Realtor can make the buying process go smoothly. Remember, most new home sales staff members are not Realtors or licensed real estate agents. As such, they do not have to follow the Realtor Code of Ethics or the state licensing laws. A realtor can help you spot unscrupulous practices, suggest more proper courses of action, and help protect your interests.
Should I get a new home inspected even if it has a warranty?
Absolutely! Your home is your most important investment. An inspection will normally cost you less than $500. A licensed inspector will check the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, foundation, floors, attic, roof, windows and other features of the home. Even the most diligent buyer can miss a major flaw in the construction of the home. My suggestion is to always have a home inspected prior to purchase, new constructions homes included. |
